Julie Reeves is an Australian artist born in Melbourne in 1972. She was educated in Brisbane, completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Queensland University of Technology. In 2010, Reeves relocated to Gothenburg, Sweden where she worked as a designer. She returned to Australia in 2014 and is now based in Perth.
Reeves has exhibited throughout Australia. Solo shows include Dark Garden, Sugar Sugar and Romance at Jan Murphy Gallery QLD, Susceptible at Dianne Tanzer Gallery VIC and a major retrospective at the Redland Art Gallery.
Her paintings have been acquired by significant public collections such as Artbank and the Museum of Brisbane. She also has work in many national and international corporate and private collections.
